Blogging is, and has been from the start, supposed to be a quick and simple way for anyone to communicate their views to the Internet public in a simple text way. The beauty of a blog is the quickness that a blog can be created (from a technology point of view). This aids the blogger (writer) in getting out the message without to much hassle, virtually anywhere they are, and allows them to focus on the message and not the technology. Events

An event can be of several virtual types like programs, video training, webinars, podcasts, video casts or a physical event such as a trade show, premier or opening night. JomComCRM features key functions that provide for event notification, event scheduling and ticketing and event delivery (if appropriate) JomComCRM provides a unique new feature of establishing an online ID or ticket that allows only registered or invited on-line guests to participate in your online events.

  • Event creator can invite friends in existing network or enter the email addresses for non-users to join the event.
  • Users can add events to their personal calendar.

  • Event can have the option to charge users a fee for attending their event.

  • Event creator can set the event created as "Featured" and the administrator can set the amount for the featured listing fee. (coming soon)
  • Users now have the option to view events posted by them as well as events they are attending.

   Content

User Pages 

Users can build their own custom web pages and share music, photos and other useful content. These tools are user friendly and easy for users to create exciting mini web sites and portfolios.

Search

Whether you are searching for a current or past business colleague, an old friend, or an industry expert, the JomComCRM solution features quick and permission based searching. The search function is very powerful and can be tailored to many criteria without the need for significant additional programming.

  • Search for new friends and increase the user's network of friends
  • Basic Search: search by first name, last name, email, etc.
  • Advanced Search: enhance search functions where users can search for friends by age, schools, gender, occupation, interest, company and many more! Users have the ability to display only friends with photos and sort search results.


Articles

JomComCRM has a very intuitive module for uploading new Articles. For users and visitors to comment and interact on a particular article, a comment section is built in where the discussion can be centered around just that article without having to go off to the blog or forum sections or your portal.

  • Users can create listings which will be posted in the Listings Directory.
  • Users can select the category where their listings will be posted and have the ability to upload photos, select the period of the listing (up to 30 days), and make the listing anonymous if they choose. Users also have the ability to publish a listing to their groups (which only group users can view) or selected network of friends
  • Ability to search listings by keywords, category and subcategory, distance and degrees

Dating or relationship networking for Joomla are generally very limited so we have developed a custom integration of the VXdate component and bridged it with the AEC Subscription component to offer subscription based social networking in addition to the Community Builder friends network. Depending on if your network is social or business in nature, the language file for this component can be changed to meet the needs of your particular community. This allows you to have a Gold club for business networking or a user dating for fueling your social community. There is no other system like this available for Joomla.
